Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15 1960) is an American actor. Known for her work in film and television in the 1980s, she's won numerous awards like two Golden Globe Awards and sixteen NAACP Image Awards in addition to nominations for two Academy Awards and seven Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett was born to her aunt in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Her birthplace was and raised in New York New York. Bassett moved with her sister to St. Petersburg Florida at age five in order so that they could be near their mom and father, who had separated from her father. Bassett chose to become an actress after she saw the production Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, starring James Earl Jones. Yale University New Haven Connecticut, where she received her bachelor's degree in African American and master's degrees (1983). She dated Courtney B. Vance, another actress from Yale and they married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. at Yale's School of Drama. granted the degree of Master of Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Bassett in 1980. She was a student at the institutions that she attended: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for students in 7th grade, Azalea Middle School for the 8th and 9th grade as well as Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett has been cast in the lead role of Ramonda in the action-adventure movie, i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda forever (2022).
